The list of questions can grow. Please reach us at management@camdenridgeauburn.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Starting in 2022, dues are $400. The increase was approved by the board.
Yes! When you closed on your home, you signed legal binding documents agreeing to abide by the HOA rules and pay your dues on time. Please be a good neighbor and fulfil your obligation. Reach out to management@camdenridgeauburn.org if you need to discuss your outstanding balance.
You may place the check inside the dropbox at the pavilion gate.
You may also mail the check to the following address:
Camden Ridge HOA
PO Box 2020

Head on over to the "Members Only" section where you can find the HOA financials under documents and minutes.
As for opting out of the HOA, the short answer is "No".
Long answer... As mentioned above, you signed legal binding documents agreeing to abide by the HOA rules and pay your dues on time. Even if you do not take advantage of the amenities Camden Ridge HOA has to offer, you are still required to pay. If you do not see value in the HOA, then we encourage you to volunteer your time and talents and make this neighbor even better. Join us!
The cost for replacement is $25.

For HOA members only.
Head over to: https://camdenridgeauburn.org/book-your-party
The space available to you is most of the area under the pavilion except for the entry area. The reservation is primarily for use of the tables and chairs. This is not a private party reservation and other HOA members may be at the pools. After the party, we ask that you put furniture back in place and also clean up after yourselves.
By submitting a reservation, you acknowledge the following will occur if our cleaning crew makes an extra visit to cleanup after your party: 1) $250 fee will be charged to your HOA account and an invoice will be mailed to you. 2) The Pavilion/Pool card will be turned off until the fee is paid. 3) Future reservations will not be approved for 3 months following the incident.
It's not on purpose.
Reach out to management@camdenridgeauburn.org if we need to add or update your email address.
First, talk to your neighbor and try to resolve the issue in a civil manner. This can be challenging. But you can find some helpful resources online. See "Tips for Talking with your Neighbor" for one example.
If that isn't successful, the situation gets complicated. There are two main ways covenants can be enforced: by fines and by a suit in law or equity before a judge. You can email: president@camdenridgeauburn.org
Currently, the HOA doesn't have a system of fines for violations of covenants so a lawsuit is currently the only option.
The president and board of directors of the HOA, as well as any homeowner, can most likely sue an owner for violation of covenants. A successful outcome for the upset party is a court order to the offender to rectify the situation and possibly monetary damages.
An aggrieved party can submit complaints and a request for action to the president or board of directors, in writing, using the contact information on this site. Contact an attorney to initiate action directly.

Under City Code Section 4-19(a), no owner shall permit a dog to habitually bark or yelp in such a loud and frequent manner as to annoy and disturb the public in the vicinity. Contact Animal Control at 501-3090 or Public Safety Non-Emergency at 334-501-3100 for assistance.
Each phase is supposed to have its own Architectural Control Committee. The purpose of these committees is to examine and approve or disapprove all plans for construction of improvements on lots or any later changes or additions. This would include repainting and any change of materials.
However, no phase's ACC is active due to lack of volunteers, so reviews are not being conducted. Owners are nevertheless encouraged to meet the design criteria contained in the applicable covenants, which can be found on this website.
Each phase's covenants allow storage buildings upon review by that phase's [Architectural Control] Committee, but "they must be screened from view, from the street or from the front or sides of neighboring homes."
Currently, no phase's ARC is active due to lack of volunteers, so reviews are not being conducted. However, owners should still meet the screening criteria.
In addition, the City of Auburn issues a permit for these structures as well "to determine if the proposed structure meets setbacks and building codes requirements. A permit for construction is required even if the storage building is pre-fabricated." Call Inspection Services at 501-3170 for more info.
